FAQs
You’re available for my wedding. What happens next?
After confirming availability, your date is held for seven days and the contract is sent through. Once the 30% deposit is received and the contract is signed, the booking is locked in and planning can begin!
Can I request special songs?
Absolutely! Songs outside the standard repertoire are always welcome. Just let me know as soon as possible as some requests may incur a small fee.
How far in advance should we book?
It’s best to get in touch as early as possible, especially if you have a popular date in mind. While last-minute bookings may be possible, planning ahead ensures the smoothest experience.
Do you take breaks during longer performances?
If a short break is needed, background music can be played from the PA system so the atmosphere continues uninterrupted.
What happens if the weather isn’t ideal for outdoor events?
For outdoor ceremonies, a wet-weather plan is always discussed in advance. Protection from rain, direct sun or extreme heat is essential to keep instruments safe. I’ll work with you and your venue to ensure the music can go ahead safely, whatever the weather.
What happens if we need to cancel or reschedule?
Rescheduling is possible at no additional cost, provided the new date is available. If you need to cancel, deposits are non-refundable. For cancellations within 30 days of the performance, a fee applies, all as outlined in the contract.
Are you insured?
Yes! I’m fully professionally insured with $30 million public liability coverage. This protects both me and your venue in case of accidents or damage during your event.
Can you play during the cocktail hour or reception?
Definitely. Performances can be arranged during your ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception, whatever works best for your timeline and atmosphere.
